Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of our website and your purchase of parts and coding services from Prolazo.

1. Who We Are

This site is operated by Prolazo (“Prolazo”, “we”, “us”). Contact us at info@prolazo.com.

2. Non-Affiliation and Trademarks

Prolazois an independent aftermarket service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way connected to BMW AG, BMW M GmbH, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. “BMW” and all associated marks, logos, and vehicle models are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Any use of these terms on our website is strictly for identification and compatibility purposes. The coding solutions provided are aftermarket modifications and are not OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products.

3. Orders & Contract

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm dispatch (for goods) or begin the service (for coding). We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is mispriced or out of stock — and will refund any payment taken.

4. Prices & Payment

Prices are shown in EUR as indicated at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment providers.

5. Fitment & Compatibility

Our compatibility tools are based on data your VIN returns and are provided in good faith. You are responsible for confirming fitment for your specific vehicle; contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

6. Coding Services

  • Performance & Requirements: Coding changes settings within your existing vehicle modules. You are responsible for maintaining a stable power supply and internet connection during the session.
  • Consent: You expressly consent to the service beginning immediately upon the transfer of files or commencement of the coding session, and acknowledge that once fully performed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
  • Dealer Overwrites: Routine dealer maintenance, factory software updates, or over-the-air (OTA) updates may erase the custom coding applied to your vehicle. Prolazo is not responsible for the loss of coded features due to manufacturer updates. Requests to re-apply coding after a factory overwrite will require a new purchase or be subject to our standard re-coding fees.
  • Safety Restrictions: We do not modify emissions-related or safety-critical systems.

7. Assumption of Risk & Legality

  • Warranty: You acknowledge that applying aftermarket coding or software modifications may void your vehicle’s manufacturer warranty or extended service contracts. Prolazo accepts no responsibility for voided warranties.
  • Legality: Certain coding features (such as Video-in-Motion or lighting modifications) may not comply with traffic laws or safety standards in your region. All coding services are provided for “off-road or show use only.” You are solely responsible for ensuring your vehicle complies with all applicable local laws before operating it on public roads. Prolazo assumes no liability for fines, penalties, or legal action resulting from the use of these features.

8. Returns & Warranty

Your rights to return goods and to warranty are set out on our returns and warranty pages, which form part of these terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, Prolazo shall not be held liable for:

  • “Bricked” or corrupted ECUs/modules resulting from interrupted power, faulty cables, or user error.
  • Costs associated with towing, dealership diagnostic fees, hardware replacement, or labor.
  • Loss of vehicle use or temporary transportation costs.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the EU, and disputes are subject to the courts of the EU, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
